Digital Reality Stage 2 and 3 – Fuel Control
Ryan Wilks was engaged by Cummins Power Generation for the installation of stage 2 and 3 at Digital Realty Data centre. Off the back of a successful installation during stage 1, Ryan Wilks was given the welcome responsibility of providing a complete turn key fuel control system and generator fitout.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Due to the nature of the facility, reliability and redundancy was the objective. Ryan Wilks was able to flourish when approached with such a task, to provide a complete duty/standby fuel control system for Stage 2. The Fuel system encompassed a myriad of dedicated control including Programmable logic control and fuel emergency equipment. The reticulation for the control equipment was installed within a hazardous construction environment with a great emphasis on safety. Ryan Wilks was able to supply, install and commission the stage 2 installation within a tight time frame to the client’s joy. This was in preparation for the support of the 3 x 2000kVA diesel generators.
Ryan Wilks success once again during stage 2 saw them receive a request to complete the stage 3 fuel control installation, for the optimisation on a winning formula. Stage 3 encompassed the control system to support 2 additional 2000kVA generators. Ryan Wilks was able to successfully complete the stage 3 installation well ahead of schedule, to provide another top quality installation for the client.
