Successful Delivery of Stage 1A Upgrade Works at Western Sydney Telecommunications Facility

Ryan Wilks is proud to announce the successful completion of Stage 1A construction works at a major telecommunications facility in Western Sydney.

The project scope included:

• Installation of five in-row cooling units with roof-mounted air-conditioning condensers to enhance thermal management within the telecommunications exchange.
• Installation of two new electrical switchboards featuring a dual-supply configuration, significantly improving power redundancy and operational resilience.
• Completion of associated building works, fire-rating upgrades, and the removal of obsolete equipment to ensure compliance with current standards and improve facility efficiency.

These upgrades play a critical role in supporting the ongoing reliability, performance, and resilience of essential telecommunications infrastructure. The enhanced cooling capacity and power redundancy will help ensure the facility continues to operate at optimal performance levels.
