Cathodic Protection
Where underground fuel tanks are surrounded by corrosive electrolyte, cathodic protection has a proven track record in mitigating the natural effect of the environment. Either by coupling to a more active metal or by impressing a DC current between an inert anode and the structure to be protected, corrosion can be halted for the design life.
Ryan Wilks can provide all aspects of cathodic protection design and operation assistance.
