Chiller Replacement Project – Major Sydney International Travel Hub
Ryan Wilks recently completed a critical chiller replacement project at one of Sydney’s busiest international travel hubs. Given the site’s continuous operation and high public traffic, the works were carefully planned and executed in close consultation with the client to ensure zero disruption to day-to-day operations.
The project involved the staged replacement of two existing chillers. To maintain continuous cooling capability, the chillers were replaced one at a time, ensuring that at least one unit remained operational throughout the process. In addition to the mechanical upgrade, the existing and outdated BMS chiller control system was fully decommissioned and replaced with a modern, integrated control solution.
We are proud to report that the project was completed smoothly, on time, and without any operational downtime.
