Smoke Sealing

The demand for smoke sealing as tested to Australian Standards 1530 has increased, largely due to the proliferation of Fire Engineered buildings. In many cases the door set required by the Fire Engineer’s design calls for both smoke and fire resistance. In many cases it means seals need to be fitted to doors, under floor and above ceiling penetrations in walls need sealing etc to meet the smoke resistance requirements.
