Kent Street Telephone Exchange – Essential Fire Services Upgrade Works

Ryan Wilks with the assistance of Equans have just completed major essential fire services upgrade at a key infrastructure project in the city.

The works involved the replacement of the buildings three (3) main sprinkler pumps (2 electric and one diesel) the installation of new dual power supply switchboard (ATS) and shutdown of the main switchboard to upgrade power supplies.

The old pumps had reached end of life and the existing basement pump room was not the most accessible space, for servicing or just simple access to the existing switchboard and domestic water pumps.

Following detailed planning we are pleased to say that the client made specific comments regarding the new install being a much better use of the available space and provide simple and clear access to the pumps, switchboards and other services.

The finished product is a credit to all involved and appreciated by the client
