Redcliffe Hospital – Operating Theatres 1-6  Pendant Replacements.  

Ryan Wilks has successfully completed the replacement of Pendant Lighting in Operating Theatres 1-6 at Redcliffe Hospital. The project involved upgrading the electrical installation to comply with Australian Standards AS/NZS 3000:2018 & AS/NZS 3003:2018 and meeting QLD Health Capital Infrastructure Requirements. 

The works encompassed upgrades of  Distribution Boards,  new & upgraded UPS systems, Cardiac Protection equipment, Operating Theatre pendants, and Structured Cabling. Despite the extensive upgrades, the project successfully minimised disruptions to the hospital operations during shutdowns for cutovers to the new distribution boards. 

Ryan Wilks demonstrated vast knowledge and experience in Hospital Electrical Installations and AS/NZS 3003:2018, providing cost-effective solutions while adapting to the site’s existing installation.  

In summary, Ryan Wilks and Metro North Health successfully managed this complex project, meeting standards, overcoming technical challenges, and delivering solutions within the strict timeline.
